**The Company**:
This Association is passionate about the environment and sustainability. The Association has over 600 members across the country. They are looking for an Events and Education Operations Lead to join the team while the current Operations Lead is on Maternity Leave. This role will manage all operations related to events and professional development courses.
**The Role**:
The Events and Education Operations Lead role will report to the Senior Manager, Industry Development and will have multiple direct reports. The main responsibility of this role is to manage key projects undertaken by the Industry Development and Communications team working across the organisation to ensure a timely and high quality delivery of these projects.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Manage systems and processes for the Industry Development team
- Manage direct reports ensuring appropriate performance to ensure team meets strategic and operational objectives
- Coordinate with teams across the organisation and suppliers to deliver projects relevant to the Industry Development and Communications team
- Coordinating team in the ongoing maintenance of course web pages, including speakers details and course details
- Manage direct reports to ensure coordination and delivery of all events, courses and webinars
- Develop and manage budgets for events and courses and ensure this aligns with the overall Industry Development budget
- Analysis of CPD program numbers and satisfaction on a regular basis and ensure feedback is reviewed and input into future changes and planning
- Manage the team for speaker management for all courses and events including all speaker communications and the database
- The ability to translate high level concepts into events, courses and activities
- Experience in managing a team, budgets; and projects with a range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse organisational strengths and weaknesses and then combine these with knowledge of the industry, market and organisation to develop long-term strategy
