At Pimpama State Secondary College we believe that Together We Succeed and we are committed to providing a world-class education in an environment that prioritises relationships and the wellbeing of our students, staff and community.
Our primary focus will be on personalising the learning experience for each child. This means focussing on the relationship between the teacher and the student, using technologies to engage and enrich learning and making innovative use of our learning spaces.
To achieve a personalised approach to learning we will have the following five goals:

- High expectations and early intervention so that every child can achieve their dream.
- A belief that every child can learn and their learning will be tailored to their individual level.
- Our teachers will be learners. They will be able to articulate what they do, why they do it and how effective it is.
- Teachers will develop a deep understanding and insight into each student's learning needs and preferences and adapt teaching, learning and assessment to maximise individual potential for success.
- The use of technology will enrich and personalise learning experiences for students, make learning accessible 24/7, and develop 21st century learning and communication skills.
At Pimpama SSC IP staff support the school in implementing evidence-based practices to maximise the outcomes for all students through the effective identification and reduction of barriers to learning. As an Inclusive Practices Teacher, you will work as a Case Manager, Co Teacher and Interventionist, alongside Teacher Aides and other support staff, and have opportunities to work in partnership with Teachers, Parents and external agencies.As a member of the Inclusive Practices team you will have opportunities to collaboratively plan and implement engaging and universally designed lessons as a co teacher.You will also develop alternative programs and individual plans for the students on your case management load. - Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher. For info CLICK HERE.
- In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For infoCLICK HERE.
