We are seeking an outstanding individual to step into this pivotal position as the Chief of Staff at Swinburne University.

As the Chief of Staff, you will provide high-level advice and executive support to the Vice-Chancellor and to assist cross-functional coordination and monitor implementation of strategic major projects.

In conjunction with VC, Council and EG, the Chief of Staff will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the University 3-5-year strategic plan.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader; as you will be the Secretary to the University’s EG, leads and manages the staff of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and prioritises and coordinates the Vice-Chancellor’s program of external engagement.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated ability working with confidential and other sensitive information.
- Significant experience representing organisations in each of advocacy, negotiating, and relationship building/management capacities.
- Advanced analytical and communication skills including the ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected information and provide meaningful business insights to enable executive and other decision making.

**Qualifications**
- A postgraduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
