**About Us**:
Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced General Superintendent to execute the construction activities for the SSTOM project

**The Opportunity**:

- You will be responsible for executing the construction activities for the SSTOM project by organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks. Participate in quality inspections and supervise all project members, including staff and sub-contractors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Manages Superintendents and provides the vision for project planning, coordination, sequencing and site utilization.
- Develops the overall construction plan for the Project in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Oversees, manages and documents all day-to-day job site activities including Coastal and OSHA safety compliance requirements.
- Directs field personnel according to the project plan.
- Communicates issues, events, performance and progress daily to the Project Manager.

Reports any problems/issues promptly to the team to facilitate the most cost-effective solutions

**Criteria**:

- Trade certificate in Construction. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field will be an advantage. A four year college degree is acceptable.
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry as a Superintendent.
- 5+ years of experience in the role of assistant Superintendent.
