A full-time role as a Contracts Specialist has become available within the Commercial team, in the Commercial & Industrial Customers (C&I) business at AGL.

What you’ll be doing
- Monitor incoming tasks through the team inbox and update workflow tracker with new requests.
- Organise execution of contracts (AGL contracts, third party contracts, NDAs, warranty deeds, short form consultancy service agreements, etc).
- Prepare Legal Advice Annexure/Document Execution Form templates for Legal when requiring execution of Deeds by company directors.
- Perform a high level review of AGL standard contracts.
- Assist the Commercial Advisors with reviews and preparation of departure tables for third party contracts.
- Update contract register and all other relevant registers.
- Prepare project summary executions (liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure completion of all relevant sections and organise sign offs.
- Provide support to sales and delivery team as required.
- Send request to the finance team to process quotes in NetSuite.
- Prepare bank guarantee request forms in line with contract requirements and issue these to the treasury team.
- Request updated certificates of currency of our insurance policies from our insurer.
- Monitor the project Pre-Award List and keep track of status of each project, liaise with relevant internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Prepare reports of recently awarded projects and current ongoing projects for weekly team meetings with the Sales team.
- Review AGL and third party NDAs and prepare amendments as required, assist BDMs with queries.
- Review AGL short term consultancy agreements, prepare amendments, assist BDMs with queries if required.
- Undertake customer credit checks for PPA and On-Bill customers using SAP7CRM.
- Update NetSuite project dates for Delivery teams as required.

About You

What you’ll bring to the table
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in law
- Understanding of contract law combined with the ability to understand and draft contractual terms (with supervision)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Ability to create strong internal relationships built on performance, collaboration, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work under pressure
- An interest in the energy renewable industry
