We are thrilled to announce the opening of **The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne**, in March 2023. Designed with materials inspired by the unique stories of the city, guests will enjoy luxury accommodation, signature dining experiences, holistic wellness spaces and an iconic infinity pool, as well as world-class meeting and event facilities and services.

The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is looking for a **Head Waiter **to join the **Signature Restaurant** team on a **Full-Time** basis.

**JOB SUMMARY**

This is an extremely rare opportunity to be a part of the inaugural Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne Food & Beverage opening team.

The Ritz-Carlton Head Bartender is a visible, energetic, and ethical leader who develops, maintains and promotes a leadership philosophy that culminates in guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

Supporting in delivering an elevated daily Food & Beverage operation and business performance, this role works closely with the senior leadership team to deliver departmental goals and uphold guest satisfaction.

Our **Head Waiter** has:

- A passion for food & beverage and drive to develop their skill set and knowledge
- Previous experience as head waiter in a fine dining restaurant environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent service skills
- Someone who can create a memorable experience for our guests.
- Be a dedicated team player.
- Be expected to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and service in the restaurant and all hotel areas
- Have an in-depth knowledge of menu and restaurant offering
- Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
- Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
