Operations Analyst - Wholesale Banking

ING, Australia's most recommended bank is looking for a recent graduate or someone who is ready to graduate in a Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering degree who is passionate and eager to learn about Wholesale Banking Operations. You are a highly analytical individual with excellent attention to detail providing high quality outputs with an ability to think 'outside of the box' with a problem-solving mindset.

Motivated and curious, you enjoy a fast-paced, complex environment where you can use your exceptional thinking & communication skills to solve problems and formulate conclusions based on data.

As our **Operations Analyst - Wholesale Banking**, you'll be a key member of the team supporting the business and the growth strategy.

You'll thrive in an environment where you'll understand, analyse & interpret complex information while working a variety of stakeholders across the business locally and globally; navigating a fast-paced environment under pressure while maintain a positive mindset and can-do attitude.

**What you'll do**
- Reporting - support the team in regular and ad-hoc reporting across Operations & KYC
- Problem Analysis - understand problems, determine root cause, identify solutions
- Key Control Testing (KCT) - assist with evidencing of process control points
- Risk artefacts - support activities in risk assessments & required regulatory artefacts
- Continuous improvement - contribute & drive change initiatives

**What we're looking for
- Banking experience, ideally in Corporate/Institutional Banking
- Sound knowledge of Wholesale Banking products, processes and regulatory requirements and operational risk
- Graduate or soon to graduate in either Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, with multiple deliverables in a complex/high pressure environment
