As a Social Media Manager, you’ll manage the strategic development of an impactful financial wellbeing education program across social media and adjacent channels in line with ANZ’s Retail Brand and Marketing strategy.
As the conduit between the marketing team and various business areas, this senior role requires a high degree of stakeholder management and influencing skills.
**You will be responsible for the following**:
Leading the education & social media strategy, including driving change and innovation transformation in how we drive cut through with customers i.e. experimentation, gamification, influencers etc.
Managing the end-to-end development of Australia Marketing campaigns across social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), including brand campaigns, influencer campaigns, sponsorship opportunities and events.
Identification and management of campaign extension opportunities across adjacent marketing channels
Recommending best practice use of social media, including monitoring, quality checking, reporting and optimisation, in line with campaign objectives.
Managing the relationship with social media agency partners, social media platforms and social media management software providers.
Providing thought leadership to customer service teams on wider business process, community management, brand tone and best practice use of social servicing software.
Assisting in social media issues management to minimise brand reputational risk and complaints. You’ll be required to work with key stakeholders, particularly Corporate Communications and Media Relations, on approach and messaging.
Coaching and training in best use social media to build skills cross-functionally in the Australia Marketing team.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
**Social Media Marketing**: Ability to lead and deliver social media strategy and translate this into campaigns including concept development, campaign management, paid media and reporting.
**Marketing Strategy**: Ability to make organisational decisions on “where to play and how to win” specifying goals, areas of focus and key initiatives and how ANZ will successfully deliver future customer and commercial outcomes. It consists of analysing key learnings, findings and implications (‘so what’ and ‘now what’) to inform future strategies.
**Creative Development**: Ability to optimise the development and effectiveness of creative assets and overall delivery of creative led customer and commercial outcomes. Specifically developing effective communications briefs, creative evaluation and feedback, testing and optimising and creative production.
**Agency Management**: Ability to collaborate with agency partners to build effective relationships, enabling effective solutions & shared business outcomes. In addition, effectively managing budget and challenging agencies to innovate and experiment by looking at best practice outside ANZ to improve solutions for our customers.
**Strategic Prioritisation**: Ability to prioritise initiatives with the greatest customer and commercial benefit.
**Additional skills**:
Genuine passion for social media marketing, with deep understanding of evolving trends and best practice across social media platforms.
Proven team coaching capability.
Experience evaluating, implementing or optimising new social media management technology is a bonus.
