We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters to join our team as a CAM Production Manager with at least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in our workshops at various locations across Australia. The criteria for this position is as outlined below:
Essential
- Choosing, carrying out, and keeping an eye on plans, policies, and strategies for production.
- organising production processes according to workforce requirements, time constraints, cost, and output quantity and quality
- Managing the production plant's operation and quality control methods by scheduling maintenance, deciding on operating hours, and providing equipment and parts.
- keeping an eye on the output and expenses of manufacturing and modifying procedures and resources to cut costs
- Plans, organises, directs, controls, and coordinates the manufacturing activities of an organisation, including physical and human resources.
- Coordinates the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements. Directs staff activities and monitors their performance.
- Oversees the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment.
- Directs research into production methods, recommends, and implements initiatives.
- Controls the preparation of production records and reports.
- Operate in accordance with the companies quality management system at all times in relation to Occupational, Safety and Health requirements;
- Operate in accordance with the companies quality management system at all times in the performance of your job in a design capacity;
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of parts and bills of material;
- Working closely with sales staff, manufacturing personnel and customers to draft 3D CAD models and develop 3-5 axis CAM programmes using the programme NX12 in addition to a host of other drafting and programming software.
- Recommend design modifications if needed, investigate equipment failures and make instructions and similar technical descriptions.

Qualification
- a Trade Certificate in machining/manufacturing
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with CAD/CAM techniques
- Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Word and Excel;
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork skills;
- Able to work with limited supervision, follow directions, willingness to learn and results oriented while maintaining attention to detail

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
