**The opportunity**:
Join Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing bus operator on our journey making bus travel safer, cleaner and greener for people and the planet.

Based in **North Melbourne**,** **you will have a knack for storytelling and drive audience engagement across our external and internal communication channels. Specifically, you’ll support the **Communications** team behind Melbourne's largest bus network which includes one third of the city’s buses. You will play an important and exciting part in communicating how Kinetic is improving the livelihoods of the communities in which we live and operate.

**What you can expect**:

- Participate in a dynamic environment to deliver key communication activities.
- Develop and deliver strategic communications, engagement, and digital media activities for Kinetic projects and initiatives across a wide range of business functions.
- Write and produce written communications materials for use across Kinetic internal and external communication channels.
- Develop effective communications and support engagement activities with key organisational stakeholders.
- Support the Senior Leadership team with the preparation of communications materials.
- Support the management of stakeholder issues and coordination of community engagement activities.
- Support and monitor media engagement activities.

**The boxes you’ll tick**:

- Demonstrated experience in sourcing, writing and editing accessible and engaging communications content for a range of digital and traditional channels.
- Bachelor of Business/Communication/Public Relations or Journalism or related discipline is preferred.
- Experience using Adobe Suite products including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Outstanding personal communication and writing skills with the ability to seamlessly switch between and adapt to different writing styles as needed with an understanding of audience and tone.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the continuous improvement of strategic communications and engagement initiatives.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with the ability to work undirected and to time constraints to achieve multiple project timelines and objectives.
