**Sales Specialist - Metals and Minerals**:
**Location/Division Specific Information**:
Located in an Australian capital city, working across the Australia and New Zealand region.
Chemical Analysis Devision (CAD)
**How will you make an impact?**
**Keys to Success**:
- Own all sales account management responsibilities for our OES, XRF, XRD, PGNAA and automation solutions with a focus on industrial (cement, metals, mining) environmental testing and academic markets.
- Prospect for new business, qualify sales leads, and generate a strong opportunity funnel. Continually advance opportunities to close business.
- Develop territory business plan and update according to business and market changes. Provide accurate booking forecasts and reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Prepare and deliver exciting, compelling, and focused technical presentations.
- Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.
- Work collaboratively with other commercial team members to share market feedback and ensure full value is provided to customers.
**Education**:
- Degree in sciences with profound knowledge in elemental and structural analysis.
**Experience**:
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Bachelor or Master degree of Material Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or other technical/science degree
- Background in Analytical Instrumentation, including XRF, XRD, OES and PGNAA, for material characterization and/or process control
- An outgoing personality with strong communication skills with a diverse audience enabling closure of sales and solving issues
- Able and willing to travel to customer locations
- Systematic problem solving by working with customers and marketing/service teams
- Presentation skills and crafting material for presentations to internal and external audiences
- A strong sense of team spirit and cooperation within the CAD team
- Self-starter, with an appetite for healthy competition
