**Your Role**

We have an exciting opportunity within our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) Pricing team for an experienced Pricing Specialist.

This Pricing Specialist role will be responsible for the pricing function of the Complex & Specialty products (Liability, Professional Risks, Workers Compensation, Fleet, Construction and Engineering) and work with the stakeholders including portfolio and distribution team.

As a Pricing Specialist, you will specialise in data driven analyses to enable IIA to charge the right premium for the risks we insure. You'll be part of a team that designs, builds, implements, maintains and monitors technical pricing models and contributes to the derivation of go to market premiums.

You'll work with the stakeholders closely and also provide insights which will help to develop strategic pricing initiatives for both the short and long-term future. You will have the opportunity to learn, develop and operate in a supportive and collaborative environment; be engaged in and help shape the future of the numerous activities across end-to-end pricing; as well as contribute and add value to our business on various fronts..

**This role is a permanent, full-time position and can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.**

**About You**
- Practical experience in programming with analytical software such as R, Python, SQL and SAS.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the general insurance industry, ideally in pricing or commercial insurance product.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present and discuss complex information, analysis, and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies..
