**About Insitu Pacific**
Insitu Pacific delivers industry-leading Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) services to Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Our expertise, operational experience, and knowledge has established Insitu Pacific as a key provider of end-to-end advanced multi-domain ISR solutions.
Since 2009, our people, partnerships, suppliers and local flight testing and training facilities have effectively supported defence, commercial and civil customers. Located in Alderley, Insitu Pacific head office is less than 10 minutes' drive from Army's Gallipoli Barracks in Enoggera, and 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD.
**The Opportunity**
**Responsibilities**
- Operation of RPAS as Pilot In Command as required in support of Flight Operations
- Provide support to Chief Remote Pilot (CRP) to review and maintain Insitu Pacific RPA Operations Manual compliant with requirements for obtaining a CASA RPA Operator's Certificate (ReOC)
- Conducting pre-flight planning to include mission briefings weather forecasts, Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), Special Instructions (SPINs) and airspace requirements.
**Experience/Qualifications**
To be successful in this role:
- CASA RePL with 25kg Fixed Wing & Multi-rotor class authorisations (200 hours or three years' experience as Remote Pilot
- Prior experience operating BVLOS RPA
- Demonstrated experience in RPAS Training
- Experience in the development and administration of an aviation Safety Management System (SMS)
- Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
