**About the Role**

The role of Lecturer & Course Coordinator ensures allocated programs are operated effectively and efficiently, providing a quality experience for the students and staff.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Provide leadership to allocated programs to achieve excellence in teaching and learning, research and scholarship.
- Management of academic, teaching, and administrative staff in the program.
- Oversee higher degree research students and provide Supervision to students undertaking thesis writing.
- Produce research and scholarship that informs teaching and curriculum development.
- Build the profile and reputation of the College with stakeholders, the community and potential students.

**Selection Criteria**

Qualifications and Professional Standing:

- A PhD, or nearing completion, in a relevant teacher education discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years academic or professional or practice-based experience and expertise.
- Proven academic and strategic leadership and management skills.

Essential:

- Committed Christian, involved in a local congregation.
- Proven experience in leading teaching, learning, scholarship and research, including curriculum development and modification.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and manage staff to achieve growth of Education programs.
- A proven record of research, academic publications and/or professional activities.
- An understanding of current and emerging trends, theories and approaches in Education.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and confidence in presentations to groups.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students, staff, and administrators, including pastoral skills in mentoring staff and supporting students.
- This full-time position is based in Macquarie Park._
