**Group Commercial Manager - Major Capital Projects**

**Position summary**

We're currently on the lookout for a dynamic Group Commercial Manager - Major Capital Projects to join our team. As a key player in our transformation, you will oversee supplier and supplier risk management for our strategic business improvement projects. You'll be instrumental in executing tenders, overseeing contract negotiations, and providing invaluable contract advice for prime and subcontracts.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Plan, develop and control procurement activities to ensure that activities are conducted efficiently with a view to optimising economy of purchase, quality of materials, reliability, and timeliness of supply.
- Provide reporting on the status of all contracts within the function and developing robust KPIs that demonstrate supplier objectives are being met.
- Implement agreed controls for tendering and all procurement policies and procedures.
- Writing reports detailing progress for relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the wider Procurement team and internal business units to identify and track supplier due diligence requirements.
- Ensure that supplier risk assessments are undertaken during Supplier Onboarding
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to all relevant legislation and policies and procedures in relation to Responsible Service of Gaming (including training), and the Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct.
- Monitor, encourage and reward compliance and adherence for direct reports/team/department.

**Key selection criteria**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Commerce or other relevant field.
- Experience in procurement and/or tendering experience
- Prior experience within the construction industry, preferably with experience in integrated resorts and/or casino operations.
- Administering and executing the commercial aspects of large projects.
- Able to deliver projects within strict deadlines.
- High level of planning, Organisational and report writing skills.
- Demonstrated experiencing in working within complex stakeholder engagements and effective relationship building.
