**Role details**

The Manager, Quality Assurance is accountable to the Director Regulatory Operations and Practice (Early Childhood Services) for the ESB’s regulatory activities in the assessment and rating of services and proactive monitoring activities.

The incumbent leads a team of authorised officers who work under the National Quality Framework to promote and support the continuous improvement of early childhood services by strengthening the South Australian early childhood sector’s and broader community’s understanding of best practice.

As an experienced regulatory professional, you will use your senior management experience and engagement skills to lead our quality assurance function on its continuous improvement journey and to build relationships with sector representatives and leaders.

You are a highly accountable individual who thrives on the challenge of delivering effective outcomes in a fast-paced and changing environment with a proven ability to manage competing demands and achieve results.

**About us**

We are the independent statutory authority that regulates early childhood services and registers schools to improve education and care outcomes for children and young people. Our regulatory practice statement provides an overview of our approach to regulation.

The Education Standards Board is located in the CBD in modern office facilities close to public transport and Rundle Mall. We employ approximately 40 staff.

As a small agency, we offer our employees a diverse and broad scope of work, and the opportunity to work closely with the education and early childhood sector to influence and support quality improvement and performance.
