The role

As part of our Business Services group, the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager will work within the Procurement Team, coordinating and managing Quality Assurance activities relating to Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Review, analyse and approve suppliers based on information available
- Assess and qualify suppliers for global procurement opportunities within the Saab Group
- Maintain and improve the Approved Supplier List and the associated schema for categorising suppliers
- Identity risks associated with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensures that risks associated with suppliers are communicated to risk owners and manages Coordinates Supplier audit activity
- Performs Suppliers audits when needed
- Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered for this role._

About you
- Your skills and experience will include:_
- Demonstrated experience performing a similar role
- Sound understanding of Project and Procurement Management Processes and their intersection
- Ability to understand and use ERP/MRP and PDM systems
- Degree or equivalent experience within Engineering or technical discipline (desirable)
- Awareness of certification requirements for ISO Management Systems (desirable)

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
