The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for the execution of a comprehensive quality assurance process of the finance data migration for each school and preschool as they are migrated from the legacy general ledger (EDSAS) to the cloud-based Education Management System (EMS).

**What you will do (key outcomes)**
- Undertake quality assurance processes and ensure supporting documentation and business sign-off details are maintained.
- Undertake data profiling on in-scope datasets, including identifying, analysis and remediation of data quality issues.
- Develop system mappings from legacy EDSAS general ledgers to EMS to assist with the analysis of what financial information is required to be imported into EMS.
- Contribute to the development of best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities. form data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting.
- Help to maintain a safe and healthy working environment by proactively reporting incidents, hazards, and injuries.

**Qualifications**:
**Desirable**: CA/CPA accreditation, a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Vaccination status must be disclosed and provided for sighting on request.
