**The **Opportunity**
As a Customer Service Consultant, your role will be to answer inbound calls from existing members and communicate the industry changes to the premiums. There is a high volume of calls in this role which will include a variety of enquiry types, along with navigating different systems to assist our customers with the information and support they need.
This is a fast-paced, phone-based role that plays a critical part in supporting our customers and members, some of whom may be in vulnerable situations. It is so important your values align with Medibank’s (Brilliance Together, Breaking Boundaries, Customer Obsessed, and Show Heart)
**What’s on Offer?**
- 3-month contract role
- Start date 15th of Jan
- 3 weeks paid training delivered virtually
- Weekly rotating roster - the line operates from 8am - 8pm AEDT
- Minimum requirement of completing 37.5 hrs per week
- Working from home role
**What are we looking for?**
You will have a background in customer service or sales and a passion for assisting and supporting customers in a professional and empathic manner. You will be;
- Passionate, committed and driven to deliver exceptional and engaging customer service to our members
- You have a background in Customer Service or Sales role ideally in a contact centre environment
- You have the ability to quickly build rapport and convey empathy over the phone
- You have the ability to adapt and pick up new IT systems quickly
- You have a good degree of computer literacy and are comfortable navigating through several systems while assisting customers over the phone
- You will ideally have experience working towards KPIs and targets
