About the role
Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, the Patient Services Supervisor is responsible for the provision of an efficient administrative service across front of house Patient Services areas. The Supervisor will provide leadership and support to the administration staff on all clerical duties, quality activities and customer service associated with Main Reception, Admissions and Rehab Inpatients & Outpatients. This includes the coordination of workloads, promotion of teamwork and delegating as required.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining a staff roster, including payroll validations, assisting with education, recruitment and cessation of staff.
Supervise the patient services team including developing and maintaining a positive culture. Ensure compliance with relevant legislations and health fund contract requirements.
Ability to work in all areas of patient administration and relieve for patient administration manager in their absence.
Communicate expectations clearly and concisely, demonstrating a professional and positive attitude at all times.
