About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Patient Services Manager (PSM) is responsible for the coordination and management of all hospital administration functions, including billing, coding, patient services, hospital screening staff and ward clerks. In addition, the PSM is responsible for the human resource function of all patient services staff and on-boarding, orientating and training staff.

The PSM is accountable for influencing the broader patient services team to welcome, admit and discharge patients from the facility in line with Calvary’s values: Hospitality, Healing, Stewardship and Respect; maximising staff output and influencing successful outcomes.

The PSM is responsible for auditing patient revenue processes against contractual obligations from varying funding streams, providing advice to the hospital Executive Team on opportunities to maximise revenue and mitigate loss
