**Clinical Trials Nurse / Clinical Trials Assistant**

**Permanent Part-time Position - 32 hours per fortnight**

**About the Opportunity**
- The Clinical Trials Nurse / Clinical Trials Assistant works closely with the Clinical Trials Coordinator and all associated research and site staff to co-ordinate and support the clinical trial research activities conducted at the Hospital.
- The Clinical Trials Nurse / Clinical Trials Assistant will ensure that a high quality, professional and efficient research service is consistently provided in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and appropriate clinical trial regulations.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or qualifications and experience in a relevant medical field
- Previous experience in clinical trials is desirable
- Cannulation skills desirable, must be willing to upskill if not already proficient
- Experience working with busy clinicians and the ability to effectively manage workload within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to establish relationships and work in partnership with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to take initiative, problem solve and assist in ensuring the success of each project
- Demonstrated ability to plan and set goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities
- Ability to self-direct and work independently

**About Ramsay**

Southern Highlands Private Hospital provides 74 acute medical and surgical beds, as well as an extensive range of onsite rehabilitation and palliative care services for the community and beyond to the regional and rural areas. The Hospital has 4 Operating Theatres, a Procedure Room and a Day Surgery Unit. The hospital is located in Bowral, adjacent to the public hospital.
