An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate **Clinical Quality Manager** to join our team.
**Job Role and Summary**:
The Clinical Quality Manager is responsible for driving quality assurance, governance, and risk management systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance within our facility. Key accountabilities include:
- Implementing and maintaining effective systems and internal controls for quality assurance, compliance, and risk management.
- Developing quality assurance and risk management policies and procedures.
- Supporting leadership in reviewing policy changes to ensure legislative compliance.
- Assisting the Board and Facility Manager with governance and compliance schedules.
- Establishing an assurance system, including audits and surveys, and coordinating audit activities.
- Participating in establishing and monitoring quality indicator measures and targets.
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of quality indicators through the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program.
- Analysing quality data from audits, surveys, complaints, and incidents, and reporting on key risk areas.
- Coordinating the development and maintenance of the organisation’s Risk Management Plan and Risk Register.
- Conducting internal reviews of quality assurance, compliance, and risk management systems.
- Leading continuous improvement activities following external reviews.
- Providing documentation and representation to third-party auditors and regulatory bodies to support compliance.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with current registration status.
- Degree qualification in a related field or significant equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of material risks in aged care, quality, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Demonstrated competence in overseeing governance, quality, and risk management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High-level customer service skills.
- Professional accountability and independence.
- Effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Professional documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
