**About the Role**
**Temporary - Full time**
The Manger Towing Services is responsible for leading and managing the towing contracts for both Clearway, Accident, Abandoned Vehicle and Hazard Towing services. This role will deliver the towing programs including staff supervision, complex contract management and providing sound and timely advice to management on all aspects of the program. This role will ensure departmental processes and policies are aligned to relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks and guidelines and build a culture of safety and continuous improvement, including with DTPs major suppliers.
The role is responsible for ensuring contract and commercial outcomes beneficial to DTP and the general public. This requires working closely with senior management and DTP procurement.

**Position Outcomes**
- Well managed suppliers for Clearway, Accident, Abandoned vehicle and Hazard towing by leveraging KPI performance and operational review forums to ensure performance is delivered as contracted and expected by DTP.
- Effectively led, managed, motivated and developed employees providing Clearway, Accident, Abandoned vehicle and Hazard towing services at a professional level, while being responsive to a fast-changing environment and delivering program outcomes on short timeframes.
- Effectively managed towing contracts (Clearway and Accident) including complex contract management and administration, commercial performance, staff supervision, provision of customer service, and accurate program reporting.
- Provided authoritative advice to all levels of the Department on clearway matters aligned to legislative and regulatory frameworks, that is relied upon to inform policy and decision-making.
- Proactively established and maintained strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners to support the delivery of the Department's objectives while representing and advocating for the towing program’s interests. This includes ensuring the commercial model and market approach are fit for purpose.
