At Nationwide Towing & Transport, we are looking for a skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As an Owner-Operator, you will have the opportunity to drive your own truck and work independently, while still being part of a larger organization.


About the Role


This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for heavy vehicle recovery and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely recovering and transporting vehicles, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities



  • Operate a tow truck to safely recover and transport vehicles
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and respond to their needs in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy vehicle recovery or a related field
  • A valid MR licence and a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
