**Accounts Payable & Office Admin Role**
- Smithfield location

Powerlink Machine is a leading name in global energy production, and we pride ourselves on producing quality energy equipment to a wide range of industries. As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support.

**The Role**

An opportunity has come up for a talented individual with an Accounting background and reporting to the Assets Director, providing essential support for other departments in our organisation.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

1. Assist financial accounting functions, including actioning accounts payable

2. Enter bank and general expenses data into management software (SAGE)

3. Maintain accurate company and asset records

4. Perform daily administration responsibilities including office management duties such as answering the phone, manning reception

5. Prepare monthly accounting summary reports, as well as any other documents to support other departments

6. Perform other duties assigned by managers from time to time

**Key Competencies**

The following competencies will be assessed:
1. Tertiary education in accounting or minimum 2 years of accounting experience

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills

3. The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision

4. Familiarity with Excel and other management software such as Quickbooks or Sage

5. Ability to take on new challenges with a can-do attitude

We also provide company lunches every Wednesday as well as casual Fridays, in addition to functions throughout the year for events such as staff birthdays, Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
