**About the role**:
Oversee and carry out all administrative processes relating to the management of the VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) communications and processes integral to the working relationship between VTAC and Melbourne Polytechnic.

Support the registration, development, maintenance and accuracy of Nationally and State Accredited Courses, and Institute Accredited Courses (IAC) and relevant curriculum components in the Institute Student Management System (Strata).

Support the development and implementation of new and existing Enrolment templates, Classes and Training Plans in the Institute Student Management System (Strata).

Assist with and support the implementation of Course enrolment and related information to ensure timely enrolment processing and alignment with Institute enrolment processes and stakeholders (e.g., Course Standards).

**Duties**:

- Attend VTAC induction and/or training sessions for publishing and selection and/or other VTAC operational and policy review meetings.
- Develop and maintain a working understanding of the VTAC publishing and/or selection systems, its policies and procedures.
- Liaise with relevant Institute staff and Departments in the management of course and institutional policy and procedural information provided for VTAC registration.
- Ensure all VTAC course entries, Selection Officer details and offer letters are entered and the selection data to and from VTAC is actioned in accordance with VTAC compliance requirements and within the timeframes set by VTAC.
- Coordinate VTAC offers and enrolments in conjunction with the relevant Institute staff and distribute offer lists to relevant Departments within the timeframes set by VTAC and the Institute.
- Effectively communicate and clarify VTAC policies and procedures internally to relevant institute staff and where necessary supplement VTAC’s training of editorial and/or selection officers in associated operations.

**Skills and experience required**:
**Mandatory**
- Relevant Tertiary qualification or significant demonstrated experience and knowledge in the management of VET Curriculum.
- Relevant experience in the administrative processes relating to the management of the VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre) communications and processes integral to the working relationship between VTAC and Education providers.
- Relevant experience with Student management Systems (such as Strata).
- General knowledge of the impact of Government Regulators on the implementation and management of accredited Curriculum.
- Understanding of Educational Quality procedures.

**Desirable**
- Have the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
- A comprehensive understanding of the VET Funding Contract.
- An Understanding of Tertiary Collection of Student Information (TCSI).
