We currently deliver corporate event experiences Monday - Friday in the late afternoon and early evening, with venues located in the foyer of premium Sydney CBD buildings. **About the Role**
This role is responsible for events at our Fossix Gateway venue. This includes the coordination of corporate hospitality and event functions, including beverages and canape catering, ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards.

The **Events Front of House Manager **is responsible for the delivery of event services.

This role includes:

- Managing the coordination, rostering and supervision of casual event staff. This includes the recruitment of casual staff from our hospitality App and compiling planned costs for staffing prior to events.
- Agree planning, set up and presentation of event venue.
- Offering high quality customer experiences to Clients and their team.
- Manage and deliver event specific plans and oversees event staff to meet the operational needs of the Client event.
- Preparing the event running sheet.
- Coordinating the event day catering with the Kitchen team given the running sheet schedule.
- Ordering alcohol via our partner, checking the receipt of alcohol & loading into storage and fridges.
- Check glassware on-hand to ensure this is ready for service.
- Oversee the Bar point of sale (POS), and provide final POS for Event settlement.
- Order / arrange collection of ice for service - as required
- Arranging paper products (serviettes, spoons, etc)
- Ensures all event staff have relevant RSA to deliver service requirements.
- Monitor patron satisfaction levels, respond to feedback and complaints as required, recommend and implement improvements.
- Assists the Event Director with the development and delivery of Venue Event Plans including client service initiatives for all future events.
- Coordinate AV with key suppliers for events and basic equipment operation.
- Manage all required bump in items, set up and break-down arrangements, for function delivery.
- Receive a fortnightly functions schedule from Fossix stakeholders each week.

**About You**

1. Previous relevant experience in event operations within a corporate, hospitality or entertainment venue.

2. Supports shared purpose and direction by understanding the work environment; Contributes to function planning; Analyses information and identifies risks and uncertainties in procedures and tasks.

3. Works to agreed priorities responding to changes in requirements to ensure results are achieved.

5. Communicates clearly both orally and in writing, structuring messages clearly and succinctly; Listens to differing ideas and understands issues.

6. Ensures roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated to establish clear performance standards and deadlines.

**Essentials**
- providing appropriate evidence of the ‘Right to Work’ in Australia
- Completion of NSW RSA Certificate.

**Remuneration**:

- calculated on an hourly rate of $45 per hour + super
- estimated at 15 -20 hours per week
- weekend work may be required into the future (Saturday evening). Hourly rate will be “1.5 X $45 per hr + super”
- work schedule is slightly flexible
- Fossix event plans are advised at least two weeks in advance every week

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
