**Your new role**

Due to growth, it is now time to add a dedicated payroll person to the team. This is a part time, 3 days role. Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the wider finance team, you will lead the payroll process on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.

You will
- Ensure the Payroll department operates professionally, within company and statutory guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of salaries and wages
- Manage the reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax and super
- Ensure payroll weekly, monthly and end of year reporting is completed accurately

**What you'll need to succeed**

This is a role for someone who can demonstrate strong experience in a dedicated payroll position. You are someone who has meticulous attention to detail and your communication handling payroll queries is exemplary.

You will need
- End to end payroll processing intermediate volume, full processing - from calculation to EFT transfer and statutory reporting
- Ability to review and update policies and procedures
- Professional work approach and superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of personalities
- Knowledge of payroll administration - processing and statutory.
- Knowledge of computerised payroll software and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Numerical ability and data entry skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent Computer based skills, including data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
