**About the Role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Focus on identifying and delivering sustainable process improvements across all areas of accountability
- Facilitate portfolios with the maintenance and administration of local health and safety systems and processes
- Participate in, monitor and report on compliance and quality assurance management, in line with requirements under the University’s risk management framework including health and safety, legislation, statutes, regulations and policies.
- Monitor and provide written reports of licensing requirements for the University to operate within health and safety areas
- Provide advice and support in preparation for and corrective actions resulting from internal and external audits
- Assist the clients to effectively manage health and safety risk through coordination, advice and where applicable, direct assistance/implementation.

**Who we are looking for**
We're seeking an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will also have:

- A relevant qualification and/or relevant experience such as Health & Safety Systems and Construction experience
- Knowledge of health and safety and relevant legislative requirements
- Intermediate-level computing skills and ability to learn new systems
