**The Role**

We are seeking an Administration & Finance Support Officer to provide **Parental Leave Cover** and join the contract team located at the ANU in Canberra. You will work closely with, and provide support to, the Contract Administration Manager and will be responsible for the day to day purchasing and accounts payable functions, and to provide office administration and reception duties. This is a unique opportunity to join this team working with this important client.

**Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Raising of purchase orders, reviewing open purchases and following up on outstanding orders
- Goods receipting
- Assist with payroll & time-sheet functions
- Perform all branch administration functions as directed
- Input of data into a Work Management System
- Assist with service delivery partner management

**Skills and Experience**

With such a challenging role, you will come to us with:

- Proven ability to prioritise, ensuring all key tasks are performed in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to work with multiple systems
- Excellent investigative and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to multi-task and a change champion
- Good computer literacy (especially Microsoft Excel)
- Mid-level understanding of accounts functions
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good standard of interpersonal skills and ability to relate with work colleagues, clients and stakeholders
- Experience working in a similar role

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience with Work Management System (WMS) computer database
- Previous experience with Coupa
- Strong understanding of SAP
