**About the Role**:
The Organisational Development function supports the development of Melbourne Polytechnic's organisational culture, and is focused on ensuring Melbourne Polytechnic is a great place to work. The purpose of this position is to support the design and implementation of multiple organisation development initiatives, strategies and projects that aim to improve the culture, reduce turnover, attract and retain talent and improve performance at Melbourne Polytechnic.

**Duties**:

- Support the development and initiative of innovative programs in support of the People strategy, with a particular focus on driving cultural change and increasing employee engagement.
- Support the development and implementation of MP's cultural roadmap.
- Provide guidance and analysis on current initiatives, emerging themes, and best practice related to organisational development.
- Support the development of change management capability through execution of organisational development programs supported by robust and effective change processes.
- Undertake consultation and develop and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to drive collaboration, inform program offerings, policies and practices and to support the identification and implementation of organisational development strategies.
- Collaborate with external service providers to meet organisational needs as required. Manage procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and monitor service delivery.
- Support the implementation and review of the annual People matter survey, and the development of subsequent programs and interventions to drive identified change outcomes.
- Report on outcomes and progress of actions taken, contributing to the preparation of reports for the People committee, the Board and the Executive Leadership Committee.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating OD initiatives, with capability to monitor operational and financial resources, track progress and meet timelines for deliverables.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and experience in dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to effectively and convincingly present, coach, consult and facilitate group processes.
- Demonstrated capability to ensure standards are maintained and resources are utilised effectively and efficiently, ensuring achievement of expected outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent organisation skills and an ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage competing work priorities.
- Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resources or a related discipline.
