Job Opportunity: Ruminant Business Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ruminant Business Manager to join our team at ForFarmers UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales of our Total Feed Portfolio, ensuring that volume and contribution targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of compound feed, blends, dry straights, liquids, moist feeds, and forage products such as seeds, additives, and fertilizers.
  • Serve the dairy, beef, and sheep sectors within our ruminant customer base and prospect pool.
  • Achieve sales targets, manage accounts, and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong sales skills with the ability to maintain an existing customer portfolio and build relationships with new clients.
  • Background in agri-business and a well-established ledger delivering approximately 10,000+ tonnes of compound and blend feed, contributing £400K or more in total sales margin.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in using CRM reporting systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
