What you’ll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Planning Coordinator to join our National Sales Division in a Max Term role for 12 months.

The National Sales Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national vehicle sales, fleet, integrated planning and logistics activities to achieve vehicle sales volume, market share and profitability objectives.

The National Planning Coordinator is primarily responsible for the supporting the development of sales and production order plans coordination to contribute to the achievement of sales targets and profitability objectives. This Supply & Demand Planning role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, monitoring and evaluating sales and marketing data to effectively estimate future product demands. Duties include planning stock level, analysing statistical data, and generating forecasting solutions.

This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.

How you’ll make an impact- Support the implementation of agreed sales, ordering and inventory systems, processes and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve Supply Chain & Logistics objectives.- Contribute to product life cycle management and product sales strategy development to contribute to customer satisfaction and align activities to the overall objectives of National Sales.- Assist in the gathering, summary, analysis and reporting of information. Prepare and distribute reports, technical information and presentations to inform sound decision making.- Support systems and processes to effectively manage data and monitor sales, ordering and inventory reporting activities to identify risks, opportunities and improve performance.- Act as the key contact for stakeholders in relation to National Planning market and sales forecasting and inventory planning data analysis and business activities. Resolve any queries and issues and escalate matters to minimise risk.- Support the coordination of National Planning forums to ensure that National sales, ordering and inventory plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders. Assist the review and development of costing methodologies and documents opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency in the division.

Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you- Degree qualification in Business, Commerce or Accounting or equivalent experience.- 2+ years’ corporate experience in forecasting and supply and demand planning.- Strong experience in reporting and data analysis including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite focussing on excel - Analysis for Office.- Experience working with SAP and PowerBI desirable.- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.- Great attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
