The purpose of the Marketing Coordinator is to expand the awareness and recognition of IDS through the use and management of social media and marketing campaigns. IDS operates in a competitive disability service provider market where individual choice in provider directly impacts the bottom line. The Marketing Coordinator will work to build IDS’ customer base and reputation as a provider of choice.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the development of website content for search engine optimisation (SEO) to improve organic traffic in the digital market space
- Collate and synthesise marketing documents and collateral including newsletters, brochures
- Assist with IDS’ Google non-profit grant performance and renewal
- Work in collaboration with website developers to manage and optimise IDS’ primary website and all affiliate sites
- Support any review of IDS’ marketing and branding
- Help to develop content and to distribute IDS’ monthly newsletter
- Maintain a network of various media platforms to ensure efficient and effective advertising performance
- Identify effective media channels to reach specific audiences
- Provide information on market structures and trends to help identify the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Assist to coordinate and market events and awards (e.g. Staff excellence awards, International Women’s and/or Men’s Day dinners, IDS Client and Staff Christmas Party).

**Requirements**:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check -in place prior to commencement
- Victorian Working with Children Check -in place prior to commencement
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module - can be completed upon appointment
- Established media marketing related references.
**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing in a commercial role
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve marketing objectives
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in content creation
- Ability to work with a high level of independence and autonomy
- Ability to manage competing priorities, and multiple projects
- Well-developed time management skills to ensure stakeholder requirements are met
- Computer skills including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Preparedness to work within IDS’ Values and Purpose.
**Education**
- Diploma or higher in marketing, business, or related field.
**Desirable**
- Experience in Google Analytics
- Experience in social media marketing (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, x, Instagram, YouTube)
- Understanding of key marketing drivers of customer acquisition, growth and retention/loyalty.
**Pay**: $40 to $45 per hour
**Job type**: Part time (EFT: 0.4 - 0.6)
