Beep Beep Bus Stop Films is looking to bring on a Highly organised, detail-oriented and self driven person to join our growing Marketing team. Our programs include our Accessible Film Studies Program, which supports people with disability to gain a film school experience, offering filmmaking, friendship and capacity building.
The role of the Marketing Coordinator is critical to the organisation and is focused on managing the social media and marketing, events, communications, collateral (online shop) and branding and a strong focus on our events and fundraising activities across the year.
This is an exciting role with a real focus on making a difference in the lives of those we support and their communities. We're looking for someone with a can do attitude, who can manage multiple deadlines and think creatively on how to really engage our community.
You'll be responsible for the below:
- Event Coordination
- End to End management of all key events for Bus Stop Films including showcases, launches, advocacy and fundraising events.
- Liaison with key stakeholders including venues, caterers, speakers and tech staff.
- Set up and manage ticketing including guest list, VIPs and comp code se ups.
- Coordination of run sheets and speaking notes.
- Engagement of event photographers and uploading post event albums to social media and Flickr.
- Arranging accessibility aspects including Auslan interpreters and Audio Describers and captioning of all content for events and event related marketing
- Plan and manage budgets, payment of invoices and spend management and income tracking.
- Manage and execute vibrant, timely and engaging marketing plans for all events, in liaison with the Media and Digital Marketing Manager.
- Ensure events are promoted to key stakeholders and partners, including to BSF staff, students and board through timely and tailored communication and collateral.
- Provide post event impact reports to the CEO around attendance, spend and guest feedback.
- Identify opportunities for event sponsorship through new and existing partnerships.
Social Media
- Work with the Media and Digital Marketing Manager to coordinate digital activity on all social media channels across the organisation.
- Create, upload and manage the Bus Stop Films website entries.
- Ensure all BSF content on all channels is accessible.
- Work with the Media and Digital Marketing Manager to provide monthly reporting on the progress of our channels.
- Ensure all posts meet communication guidelines standards and include the appropriate image/content descriptions tags and recognition of partners or special events.
- Curate posts that reflect current issues, events and activities that impact or honour our community - eg around NDIS, disability, film and inclusion.
Marketing and media
- Work with Media and Digital Marketing Manager to design, generate and deliver on the marketing collateral for all events, films and social media channels.
- Design, generate and distribute an online regular monthly newsletter to our community and partners.
- Work with Film Distribution Development Manager to coordinate film marketing e.g. festival screenings and accolades.
- Manage collation and storage of BSF image library on G Drive and Flickr.
- Work with the Media and Digital Marketing Manager to collate and prepare the Annual Report.
- Work with Media and Digital Marketing Manager to collate and prepare welcome packs for programs and enrolment marketing.
- Maintain CRM with updated contacts for marketing purposes.
- Coordinate information for media releases and media engagements as required.
- Assist with Website management, website upgrade project and copy updates.
- Assist with copy for the mobile app and other Bus Stop Films platforms.
- Setting up Google Alerts for keywords and phrases that are of significance to Bus Stop Films to track trending issues and media engagement.
Online store
- Working with the Office Administrator to ensure items are sent out to customers within the appropriate time frame.
- Work with the Media and Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the content on the online shop is current and engaging.
- Work with the Media and Digital Marketing Manager to coordinate product marketing.
- Coordinating any promotions with the Office Administrator.
Other duties as reasonably required.

- Provide support of interns attached to the organisation around marketing tasks.
