This national private sector client has an immediate need for a highly skilled and experienced Service Desk Team Lead to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time for the business as they have recently completed a business transformation program and integration of new core business platforms.

You will be leading a small, yet close knit team of service desk analysts and form part of the leadership team of the wider IT department. This is a very supportive environment with flexible working arrangements and apart from the technical aspects of the role, this opportunity presents the ability to get more involved at the business level.

Provide leadership, coordination and mentoring of the Helpdesk team;
Develop, monitor, review and report service levels as defined and agreed with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders in Service Level Agreements, Operational Level Agreements and underpinning Contracts;
Coordinate Support Desk incident and activity task allocation. Prioritise, allocate and coordinate incidents and activities;
Coordinate and plan site visits as required, using the most resource effective method to deliver the required outcomes;
Facilitate the development and maintenance of Work Instructions for the documentation of routine (and non-routine) ICT processes and activities; and

Assist relevant senior ICT stakeholders with the coordination of resources to effectively manage major incidents, problems, changes, releases and other escalations.
