Practice Lead for Risk Assurance

The Role

The Risk Management department are searching for an experienced Risk Management Practice Lead as part of an internal risk assurance and advisory practice. As the Practice Lead, you will coordinate, report, and provide oversight of the work of the risk assurance practice.

As part of the Risk Management team, you will also be directly assisting risk and control owners with complex risk assurance and advisory needs. You will focus on supporting the business to review and uplift risks and controls, while operating within the Bank’s risk framework.

Partnering with internal customers, you will deliver high quality risk outcomes for a wide variety of areas across the bank, demonstrating the value of risk expertise to the Bank with your hands-on and proactive approach. You will be able to deal with complexity and a range of stakeholders, and your professional and positive engagement style will drive and maintain a strong risk culture.

One or more of these areas of experience and knowledge would be highly desirable:

- Third Party Risk Management (frameworks and assessments)
- Project Portfolio Assurance and Risk-in-Change
- Controls Assurance and Assessment
- Controls Improvement Advisory
- Risk management improvement activities, including risk workshops, risk assessments and analysis.
- Team lead or project coordination experience.
