The Customer Strategy and Technology division (CST), leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

**The opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer, permanent full time role within Intelligent Transport Systems. This role will provide comprehensive support and assistance to the Procurement Specialists in project administration and other support activities of the project development and delivery of a range of construction projects.

Your role will include
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
- Raise purchase requisitions, reconciling invoices to contract, service credits and discounts, certifying invoices, facilitating invoice approval and processing.
- Undertake administrative support activities in TfNSW Contract Management System (CM21).
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
- Prepare complex correspondence, briefing notes and reports in relation to specific projects, initiatives and issues ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely and have appropriate signoffs
- Assist Program and Project managers with aspects of construction project planning, delivery and financial management
- Model collegiate and collaborative behaviours to achieve the greater good for the community, celebrate a diverse workforce, create an environment where people can innovate and thrive, and support people’s wellbeing

**About you**

To be successful in the role
- Experience in construction procurement management, works contracts management and project management.
- Experience in SAP and CM21
- Sound analytical, investigative and problem solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills including well developed written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to produce timely reports and other documentation
- Sound knowledge of contemporary records management processes and requirement, best practise procedures and applicable legislation.
- Experience in the electronic document and records management solutions

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7 ($108,770.00 - $121,822.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.??
