our Client is currently seeking **Academic/Student Support Officer** to join our family in **Sunshine Coast** **Campus**.
We are looking for hard working and committed applicant who is looking to jumpstart their careers or in the verge of transitioning to an educational sector.
- **About Position**_
- **As Academic Officer**:_
- Check student progress on a consistent basis.
- Provide support for trainers and students.
- Assistance in creation of academic schedule.
- Assist college Principal with day-to-day campus operation.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to enrolled students and potential students on training courses and enrolment requirements.
- Undertake internal audits of student files and, where applicable, make necessary amendments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the files.
- **As Student Support Officer**:_
- Act as first point of contact for all students and prospective students
- Act as a point of contact with students regarding academic questions
- Organise and facilitate orientation sessions for all new students.
- Maintenance and record of all information in the Student Management System
- Assist in the implementation of rectification plans for non-compliance to ensure lodgement timelines and targets are met.
- Ensure data entry accuracy and integrity of all student’s records.
- **About you**_
- Experience in student management systems _(preferably aXcelerate, alternatively training will be provided)_
- Experience in learning management systems _(preferably aXcelerate, alternatively training will be provided)_
- Knowledge of standards and legislation affecting Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), Australia Quality Authority (ASQA) and Australia Quality Framework (AQF) is preferrable but not essential, _alternatively training will be provided._
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Strong intercultural communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to effectively plan and prioritise time and resources.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a frequently changing environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and also autonomously.
- Excellent computer skills with an advanced level proficiency in creating documents, editing, and publishing.
**Salary**: $56,076.65 - $65,900.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
