Our Aboriginal Housing Office is currently seeking to appoint a Manger Research & Analysis. If you are passionate about measuring impact and informing continuous improvement to achieve positive Aboriginal housing outcomes, love to learn and excited to work in an organisation dedicated to transforming outcomes for Aboriginal people then come and join us.

The Manager Research and Analysis will be responsible for leading a team that undertakes analysis, research and evaluations initiatives that inform and improve AHO and Aboriginal Housing sector policy development, service reform and deliver outcomes.

This role is also responsible for leading a data analysis team that is critical to collecting and reporting Aboriginal housing data to ensure that decision making is informed by reliable data and evidence and easily managed through reporting systems. The Manager also hosts a network of Aboriginal research partners and collaborates regularly with other agencies and partner organisations to provide Aboriginal Housing research, data, and evaluation expertise.

**About You**
You are passionate about improving Aboriginal outcomes in partnership with Aboriginal people and organisations. Ideally, you will have demonstrated evaluation, research, and statistical analysis skills in a government service or similar setting. An ability to develop effective relationships and provide expert advice to multiple stakeholders while delivering on multifaceted projects in a project and deadline-driven environment will set you up for success in this fast-paced and diverse role.

Additionally, as a welcomed and valued member of our team. You will have:

- Ability to effectively manage and deliver on time, high volumes workloads, often in short deliverable timeframes.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write ministerial correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to provide direction to the policy team and broader program staff.
- Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs and attitudes and of the socio-economic position of Aboriginal people within Australian society
- A thorough understanding of the Aboriginal political and historical impacts upon policy developments in NSW and nationally in relation to Aboriginal land rights, and Aboriginal land use

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
