**_ What is the role?_**

Hume Libraries is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for libraries and providing outstanding customer service to the Hume community. This position is currently based at our Sunbury Library. Reporting to the Team Leader, Sunbury Library, and working with other team members.

**_ Position Objectives:_**
- To contribute to the provision of high-quality library services that meet the educational, recreational and information needs of the diverse Hume community by providing a high level of customer service and supporting the professional presentation of library facilities.
- To support the facilitation of learning for the Hume community.
- To support the planning, implementation, and facilitation of activities for the Hume community.
- To work within library policies and procedures

**_ About You:_**
- Experience in a public library or similar environment
- Excellent demonstrated written and oral communication skills with an ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use a variety of computer hardware and software with an ability to instruct customers with various IT requirements.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in facilitating programs in a library setting.
- Ability to develop working relationships with staff and work together in a team environment.
