Contribute to the provision of high-quality library services that meet the educational, recreational and information needs of the diverse Hume community.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Ensure the timely arrival of the mobile collections service to scheduled outreach sites, community facilities and residences across the Hume municipality.
- Report any vehicle faults to the Team Leader Library Collections
- Ensure vehicle and contents are maintained and refuelled to standards as required by the Fleet department.
- Adhere to all road rules and legislation.
- Assist in the delivery of scheduled and ‘pop-up' library collections outreach programs, workshops, and services across the Hume municipality.
- Assist with set up and pack up of materials at sites including furniture, marquee, and banners to actively promote library presence.
- Work as an integral part of various teams to provide high quality customer service to the Hume community.
- Undertake regular direct library customer service duties, including regular evening and weekend shifts at a library in the Hume municipality.
- Assist with joining new members to the library service.

**The skills and experience you'll bring to the role**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and ability in the use of current technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and interest in library collections.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in using a computer and Microsoft Office software.
- Current Driver's Licence
