**YOUR ROLE**

This is a strategic thinking role sitting within our largest division Direct Insurance Australia (DIA), you will be the operational brains when it comes to understanding, planning and implementing DIA's strategies across their business.

You'll provide structure, insight and format strategy that integrates implications of external trends, opportunities and strategic risks to IAG and articulate the options for IAG’s response. The role facilitates and challenges strategic discussions and thinking across key high-level stakeholders.

Your new team has ample experience within the strategy department, having worked for for Tier 1 consulting firms and have countless years within the general insurance space.

This is a **permanent **opportunity across the major cities within Australia.

**ABOUT YOU**
- You have extensive knowledge of strategy and have proven record of planning strategy end to end
- Proven lateral thinking skills and ability to deliver original solutions to complex problems
- You'll come with critical and strategic thinking
- Experience leading projects collaboratively across multiple business units, engaging senior stakeholder management to provide outcomes, your communication skills are key
- Experience in strategy consulting, digital or customer-led organisations is preferred
- Ideally you will have knowledge of the general insurance industry
