**Hey You**:
As part of a national network of health professionals, the MatchWorks Physical Health & Wellbeing Consultant role involves providing health & wellbeing support to job seekers accessing Workforce Australia and Disability Employment Services (DES).

**Reporting to the Senior Health & Wellbeing Consultant, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups to support those experiencing physical health and or wellbeing concerns;
- Complete assessments such as functional capacity testing, ergonomics and workplace visits where appropriate;
- Conducting a range of assessments including functional capacity evaluation, musculoskeletal and fitness, work-site and ergonomic;
- Prescribe clinical exercise with a focus on work conditioning and strengthening modelled on client focused short term interventions;
- Delivering psycho-educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management and strengthening group based programs;
- Supporting operational staff with managing their clients with health and/or wellbeing concerns;
- Providing return-to-work guidance and offering in-work support as required;
**About You**:
Our ideal** Exercise physiologist** will have:

- You will be fully registered as an Exercise Physiologist with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage a diverse range of physical health conditions.
- Possess exceptional organisational abilities to facilitate the prioritisation and effective management of key duties.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

**You will need the following**:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;
- All applicants for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccinations during the recruitment process.
