**About you**
To thrive in this role as our
**_Social Media & Content Specialist_**, you’ll have:

- a thorough knowledge of social media channels and trends
- exceptional organisational, planning and time management skills, with experience delivering multiple activities simultaneously
- initiative and a positive attitude
- strong experience measuring data and translating to actionable insights
- excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- strong analytical capabilities
- strong copywriting skills, with high attention to detail.

**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the
**_Head of Member & External Communications, _**you’ll lead the execution of RACGP social media content including strategy, content creation, content planning, scheduling, measurement and community management.
- work with the Head of Member & External Communications to lead the development and implementation of the RACGP’s social media strategy, based on insights-led recommendations and in-line with the RACGP content strategy and brand voice.
- devise, create and execute social media campaigns designed to build brand trust and community, to improve attractiveness of general practice as a profession and to achieve RACGP business objectives.
- work with digital content producer and freelancers to create and edit video and photographic content for social media.
- collaborate with general practice influencers to create content with a view to expanding RACGP’s reach, engagement and visibility in the community.
- Extract data from various sources, review data, generate reports, communicate actionable insights and provide data-informed recommendations to stakeholders.
