**About the opportunity**

The Social Media Manager will share responsibility for managing the planning, development and execution of key social media content and programs to support broader marketing campaigns and Australia Post’s strategic objectives.

One of two Social Media Managers within the organisation, the role will support the delivery and implementation of an ambitious social media agenda that seeks to fundamentally uplift the way in which Australia Post uses social media to build the brand, implicitly communicate modernity and deliver best practice outcomes for our customers in both the consumer and business space. The Social Media Manager will work hard to ensure that they are delivering the brand narrative in a manner that connects with customers’ hearts and minds.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Develop and execute on social media plans supported by clear, measurable data to deliver effective, relevant and quantifiable outcomes
- Collaborating with the other members of the Digital Content & Social Media team to deliver strong outcomes for stakeholders and the customer through best practice support of marketing campaigns and always-on activity
- Develop best practice social media activity that is informed by customer research and insights, including owned data and cross functional reporting
- Management of owned social media assets, working with the team to build out a strong calendar of content that delivers key brand messaging in a compelling way
- Social media monitoring, listening and reporting to ensure a deep understanding of customer sentiment and commentary around the AP brand and our competitors
- Overseeing the social media response to crisis management, liaising with key stakeholders within the business to facilitate strong crisis management

**About you**

You are a social media specialist, who excels is the fields of developing and executing on social media strategies, social media listening and community management. You enjoy building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and have a particular interest in Community and Sustainability partnerships and initiatives. You’re eager to get stuff done, and approach your work with enthusiasm, diligence and a can-do attitude.

**What are we looking for?**
- 2+ years of experience in social media and marketing
- Experience in planning, developing and implementing social media marketing activities in large organisations
- Solid experience working within large corporations influencing, collaborating with, and managing the expectations of diverse stakeholders
- Proven experience driving demonstrable business outcomes through social media and marketing activities
