**About the role**

Our Little National Hotels are all about the little details making a big impact on our guest experiences. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for creating little moments for our guests that will keep them coming back for more. Your warm and welcoming personality, coupled with your great local knowledge of Sydney, creates surprising and memorable experiences for our guests, through the creation of REALMoments.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Leading service-excellence operations of the Front Office within the hotel
- Management of customer feedback and complaints
- Delivering exceptional service experiences
- Overseeing the implementation of Doma Hotels policies and procedures

The Duty Manager is required to mentor and act as role models for all junior staff and uphold the service standard by leading by example. A Duty Manager possesses the ability to make sound decisions based on situation analysis ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to. Hotel guest and staff safety is paramount and therefore this role must be trained as a fire warden and hold a current RSA and First Aid certificate.

Naturally, your previous years in a supervisory role within a luxury hospitality setting, will come highly regarded. As will the following:

- knowledge and skills at a level adequate to train the Front Office Team
- advanced time management skills and ability to manage other competing priorities
- motivation to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues through effective communication
- leadership and mentoring capabilities to build an inclusive and supportive team
- ability work under mínimal supervision and maintain the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- excellent personal presentation and presence
- willingness and ability to exceed expectations
- Ability to work rotating shift including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
