We are seeking Internal Expressions of Interest for a Case Management Manager with our HSP Team

About the Role
The Program supports newly arrived humanitarian entrants and other eligible clients to integrate into Australian life by building the skills and knowledge they need to become self-reliant and active members of the community.
Key needs-based services available under HSP include, airport reception, short-term accommodation, referral to mainstream and specialist support services, connections to local community groups and activities, assistance to find long-term accommodation, assistance to learn English, gain employment and access education and training, assistance to manage health assessment, follow-ups and appointments and accessing family support services and orientation to Australia, including our values and laws.
To manage the delivery and development of effective HSP service provisions and optimal outcomes to HSP clients within a designated region.
Manager Case Management function will provide leadership to direct reports in delivering high quality, best practice case management services. The function will work collaboratively with other HSP Managers and team leaders to train case management and frontline staff on delivering services to HSP clients including clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management support to Direct Reports including direction, advice, coaching, mentoring, motivation and individual performance monitoring and development.
- Provide advice and support team leaders in identifying and managing clients with complex needs requiring intensive support and referral pathway to Tier3 service.
- Work collaboratively with HSP Managers to ensure consistent case management services are delivered across HSP teams
- In consultation with line managers and collaboration with other HSP Managers and Team Leaders develop training resources for case mangers on complex case management
- Support Manager HSP to ensure compliance with DHA contractual requirements
- Ensure staff work within funding and service agreement requirements through active monitoring and problem solving.
- Ensure staff are meeting all contractual requirements as per SSI’s HSP contract with DHA, including reporting and invoicing processes.
- Other Duties as directed and needed

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- High level of written and spoken English skills
- Experience delivering and/or overseeing delivery of case management to newly arrived humanitarian entrants
- Experience in monitoring, reporting and data management
- Budgetary experience and resource utilisation

Desirable/ Preferred
- HSP Program experience of over 5 years in overseeing settlement service delivery to newly arrived refugees and humanitarian entrants
- Proven service coordination experience at a senior level within a service delivery context
- Demonstrated experience in managing and strengthening relationships and commitment to a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure cultural consideration of the needs of people and families from refugee and humanitarian background in service delivery
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities with experience in community services sector
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement and consistent service delivery
