**The Role**
- Reporting to the Head of Risk Reporting, you will be responsible for developing Insignia Financial’s (IFL) Policy Framework.- With your impeccable attention to detail and strong writing skills, you will ensure we are documenting Insignia Financial’s position on key issues in a consistent and transparent manner that is in line with our values and compliant with internal and external legislation.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the ongoing development, implementation, and review of the Policy Framework.
- Manage and develop appropriate standards and controls to ensure the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of policy documents. This includes developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure accurate record-keeping, version control and monitoring of the status of policy documents.
- Provide high level, strategic advice, accessible information, and training programs in relation to the policy framework.
- Provide high level strategic advice and recommendations on gaps, overlaps and inconsistencies in the Policy Framework, considering the broader governance framework of IFL.
- Manage the development, review, drafting, editing, approval and promulgation of all policy, ensuring appropriate consultation has taken place, to ensure that policy is regularly reviewed and is current, accurate, and suitable and is consistent with legislation and effectively meets the requirements and priorities of IFL. This may include establishing and coordinating collaborative work teams to facilitate policy development, drafting and review processes.
- Authorise the submission of policy documents to committees and specified approving authorities.
- Undertake research and prepare accurate and comprehensive briefing papers, reports and submissions on matters relating to the Policy Framework and to the management, development, and approval of policy.
- Manage the ongoing development, implementation, review, and upgrade of the web presence for Policy HQ including the timely and accurate display and promulgation of IFL policy.
- Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position.

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- A Higher Education qualification and/or extensive experience and management expertise in policy management within a large and complex organisation.
- Extensive experience in the conceptualisation, development, drafting, review and editing of policy and related documents.
- Strong conceptual and analytical ability and strong skills in problem solving, planning, organising and working autonomously.
- Highly developed critical thinking, analysis, problem solving, planning and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with respect to providing advice to and working collaboratively with all levels of staff in a complex organisation. This includes influencing others in the achievement of organisational outcomes in a calm and professional manner, establishing credibility and rapport, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to demonstrate strong commitment to team objectives and a team orientated working environment.
